About Us

The Alzheimer’s Association – Central Illinois Chapter, is a donor-supported, not-for-profit health organization serving 20 counties in central Illinois. Its three office locations – Dixon, Peoria and Quincy – serve the needs of those affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias; advocate for policy change and research funding; and work in conjunction with its National offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C., to advance research toward prevention, treatment and a cure.

The Chapter provides services to residents in Adams, Brown, Bureau, Fulton, Hancock, Henderson, Knox, La Salle, Lee, Marshall, McDonough, Ogle, Peoria, Pike, Putnam, Schuyler, Stark, Tazewell, Warren and Whiteside counties.

Our mission
To eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
